OUR STORY

Stony Knob Farm has been in the Coman family for over four decades. Originally run by James Coman for sheep and wool production, James' nephew Jay Coman took over the farm in 2012. The farm currently uses environmental best practice to produce pastured beef, pork, and lamb. Small scale aquaponics and vegetable production are also becoming  part of our operation. Stony Knob Farm  is currently under a Conservation Easement via the Blue Ridge Conservancy.
